Sometimes you meet people in the most unexpected and weirdest of places. People who, in a short span of time, become such an integral part of your life that you actually wonder how you survived all these years without them. Their constant love and support makes you feel fresh, young and alive, and you wonder if you met them by chance, or did Fate indeed destine you to meet such wonderful people. You wonder what good deed you must have done to deserve them. Their mere presence in your life means so much to you, and the fact that they care for you - each in their own special way, makes you feel on top of the world!

Sometimes, you become so dependant on them that without their love and care, you feel incomplete and lost. You crave for their love, their understanding, their support - but most of all you crave for their company. You want all the special times you've spent with them to come back - the jokes, the laughter and even the tears. For even when you cried, there was someone to console you, someone to say it would be alright, someone who would wipe away your tears and bring a smile on your face again; or maybe someone who would just hold your hand and cry with you, make you feel like you're loved, you're understood, but you're not alone.

Sometimes they cry for you, sometimes with you, and sometimes even because of you. There are very few people in this world who would be ready to die for you. Their only aim in life is to see you happy and smiling. And very often, you hurt these very people - intentionally or unintentionally. Only when they are no longer a part of your life do you realize their importance, and how much they really meant to you. But by then, it's too late to repair the damage - either you have hurt that special someone so much that they are too angry to forgive you, or they have moved on - ready to explore life and its various complexities, without you.

That is why I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the special people in my life; all the people who have helped me - in whatever small way they could. I am so grateful for your help, most of which came at appropriate times.

Thank you to all those people who bear with me - who love me in spite of all my drawbacks and failures and temper tantrums. To all those who listened to me when I poured out my heart to them - never saying a word or being judgmental - just listening when I needed a ear.

Thank you to all those who were there right beside me when I cried, who scolded me when I did something silly, and who glowed with pride when I excelled.

And finally, thank you to all those people who have brought happiness in my life, and have taught me the meaning of true love and what it is to live for others - and put the one you love before anyone - even yourself.

Thank you God for everything that You have done, and are doing for me. Hoping that our association goes a long way forward, I thank you God once more for enriching my life in such a meaningful way.
