"Every
artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature
into his pictures" }
Henry Ward Beecher -
This has
been the philosophy
and guiding thought for
Hoshnar Kaikobad - a young
painter of varied talents and a
gifted canvas to portray his
heart and mind on.

Hoshnar
- 22 years of age is born and brought up in Pune (and now settled
in Mumbai). His clientele ranges from some known names to some leading
art collectors like Rajesh Duggal and Aditya Menon who understand
art and can sense and recognize talent at an early stage.
He looks up to the likes of John Fernandes, Sir J. S. Sargent and
Raja Ravi Verma who have been considered as great artists' by many
of us - and of course there are the legends like Leonardo da Vince
and Michelangelo.
Painting
started as a passion nearly 7 years ago for Hoshnar and today has
become a main stream profession after learning a lot from Carlos
Dupratt. He has 3 successful solo exhibitions to his credit and
is an active member of the SIMA (Society of Indian Marine Artists)
- a group of artists inclined towards marine life - although that's
only one aspect of his varied work.
His exhibitions display a broad array of work ranging from landscapes,
to figurative compositions, charcoal sketches and glass paintings.
With nature as his greatest inspiration we can be reminded of the
great words of Picasso " Some painters transform the sun into a
yellow spot; others transform a yellow spot into the sun."

So…..do
we finally have another Jehangir Sabawalla or Pithawalla in the
making???? Visit www.palletofimpressions.com
to see these works of art and find out more on this young Zoroastrian
artist.
