FAREEZ VASANIA AND SOLI KARANJIA SHINE AT THE 22ND MALAYSIAN OPEN MASTERS ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Fareez Vasania of Dadar Parsi Colony and Soli Karanjia of Bharucha Baug, Andheri represented India at the Malaysian Open Masters Athletic Championships at Kangar (Perils) in Malaysia last month. They did the country proud by winning Silver and Bronze medals in the events they participated in.

Fareez Vasania a born sportsman won two Silvers each in Long Jump Men - 40 - 44 years; Triple Jump Men - 40 - 44 years and two Bronze in 100 metres and High Jump for Men - 40 - 44 years.

Soli Karanjia 51, participated in the5 km. walk and won a Bronze in the event. It is a proud moment for the community that two Zoroastrians have made a mark at the International level.
